The site is tested thoroughly for: Google Chrome, Firefox and MS Internet Explorer v9+.
Very sparsely for: Recent versions of Safari, Opera and Vivaldi.
This means that some functionality and/or design might differ and possibly not even work as intended for browsers other than recent versions of Chrome, Firefox and IE. Untested browsers might also work satisfactorily, but no garuantees.About FlightsimNorway.com
The Flight Simulator, in its default state, is a great way to learn to fly. An IFR flight is not very different from a real flight - and you can take off of an airport in nice clear skies, fly into that dense fog, then land safely on the destination airport, using your simulated instruments only. All by the book.
But, before addons, if you looked out the virtual windows (before the fog set in that is) all you could see below was the FSX or Prepar3D world. Where am I? Probably above Norway somewhere... Then came the FSX/P3D freeware and payware addons. And suddenly the FSX/P3D world transformed into a recognizable place, making the simulated VFR flight a way more pleasurable thing to do.
This site came about after making a simple comparison between a completely stock Flight Simulator X installation, and a "loaded" one. As you can see, the difference is huge! To be able to RECOGNIZE the virtual world we fly in from above, is what this site is about.
And, FSX/P3D is more than a pure flight simulator, right? Hey, we are in control of the weather too, and a pure VFR flight in nice weather is what gives! (and some of us are probably not too conserned about following all the rules either.. Classified airspace? Cannot see the border!).
